The EBS MOS Community team does regular maintenance for cleaning up threads in communities that are designated as “announcements”. Announced threads stay pinned to the top of the question and discussion threads, so having more than three makes the user experience cumbersome, requiring scrolling (possibly through multiple pages) to get to the listing of community questions. Because the EBS Payroll and OTL area has quite a few important announcements on a regular basis, we felt it would be a better experience for customers to have a separate sub category just for these announcements.
