1. Login to NetSuite: https://system.netsuite.com/pages/customerlogin.jsp. Enter your username (email address) and password. 

2. On your upper right-hand corner, hover your mouse pointer and click View My Roles. 

3. Always choose the Administrator role of the SDN developer/demo account (test drive/TSTDRV/TD ID) where you want to add more administrators. 

If you are logged in to a different account (example: sandbox or APC role), you must “switch to another account”, by hovering your mouse pointer at the role section > sub-menu drops > click View My Roles > scroll down

Once logged in as Administrator, hover your mouse pointer to Lists tab > Employees > Employees > and click New

4. Fill out the employee form: Enter the Complete Name and Corporate Email address. Do not use personal email.

5. Scroll down and click the Access tab, tick Give Access and Send Notification Email check boxes. Under Role* field, choose Administrator and click Add

  • If the email does not have an existing NetSuite access, fill out the Manually Assign Password field. 
  • Assign a password to your colleague and inform them of the password that you gave them. 
  • If the email address has an existing NetSuite access, remove the check on the Manually Assign or Change Password field and keep the password fields blank to inherit the existing password. Otherwise, there is a chance that the new password will overwrite the user’s current login credential. 

6. Once you have filled out the necessary fields, click Save

7. If it is successful, the new administrator/user should receive a notification in the email address that you used.

Reminders 

  • If you encounter an error in provisioning a role, create a NetSuite Support Case using your APC-SDN Partner role. 
  • It could be that the full user license is already used up or you only have one license available. 
  • Add as many administrators as possible on any provisioned account. This way if one leaves, the other admins can still access the account. 
  • Only an existing administrator can add another administrator. SDN cannot assist in adding a new administrator/user.
