We are excited and grateful to our teams, partners, and customers to be named a Leader, six times in a row, and positioned highest for Ability to Execute by Gartner in the 2023 “Magic Quadrant for Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), Worldwide.” This is in addition to Gartner recognizing Oracle as a Leader in the recent 2022 Gartner “Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools.”
We've worked closely with our customers and global network of over ten thousand partners to prioritize releases and deliver prebuilt recipes that simplify the complex challenges enterprise developers face when connecting applications, data, and devices across distributed cloud environments. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) integration services (Application Integration, Data Integration and API Management) provide a comprehensive enterprise solution that helps customers innovate at scale to meet fast-changing requirements and regulatory needs with the same powerful tools Oracle uses to enhance its modern data platform, SaaS, and industry-specific applications.
We released a new version of OCI Integration (OIC), which is built on cloud native architecture and design, leveraging OCI’s unique distributed cloud capabilities, superior price-performance, and built-in security. We reimagined the developer experience by using a new Redwood based low code development theme. OIC now supports zero down time patching, and isolates integration flows from infrastructure or SaaS changes. Our continued commitment to protecting application extensions and automations from upgrade challenges helps thousands of customers reduce testing, rework, and project delays.
We have made several enhancements in observability and monitoring that help customers to quickly identify problem areas and resolve issues for their business systems. Improvements include displaying the state of scheduled integrations with details about invoke activities in OIC dashboards and OCI Logging Analytics. We expanded OIC's core capabilities including a new parallel action to improve integration performance and response times.
We also announced security, usability, and audit enhancements for Visual Builder which help developers run code audit and action chain tests as part of their CI/CD pipeline. New OCI Process Automation and Integration Insight releases made it easier for developers and business leads to streamline repetitive tasks with reusable business rules and embed real-time monitoring dashboards in applications. We believe our focus on developer productivity helped us achieve a 4.7 out of 5 rating in Gartner Peer Insights™ for iPaaS.
OIC is an enterprise wide integration platform for multi-cloud, Oracle and non-Oracle apps (Salesforce, WorkDay, SAP, ServiceNow, SnowFlake, Shopify), with adapters to all major applications. In addition, we support a large library of prebuilt integrations. We continue to add new and update supported application adapters and prebuilt recipes for faster time to market, and increased productivity for the enterprise and give developers proven patterns they can adapt as needed.
We added new cloud native integration services to help enterprise developers build real time, data-driven applications including a prebuilt OIC adapter for Kafka-compatible OCI Streaming which simplifies application consumption of event streams. We announced OCI Queue which helps developers iterate faster with technology and vendor agnostic interfaces for asynchronous messaging using a RESTful webservice. Serverless Oracle Functions can now invoke packaged integrations, and the latest release of API Gateway gave developers more control with fine-grained authorizations and support for multitenant architectures.
OIC simplifies the experience of creating a unified customer engagement model that works across conversational AI, mobile devices, and web-based interfaces. Our recent release of OCI Digital Assistant helps developers optimize business processes such as touchless billing inquiries with prebuilt skills, SQL-Dialog, and visual designers for business experts to easily train digital employees. OCI AI services provide pre-trained, industry-specific models for Language, Speech, Vision, Document Understanding, Anomaly Detection, and Forecasting. OIC natively consumes these services to bring AI to process automations like intelligent document processing, customer sentiment analysis, and situation management.
