Background
Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle Database@Google Cloud in September 2024. The collaboration between Oracle and Google Cloud helps users develop scalable, high-performance cloud applications using Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database hosted within Google Cloud data centers that can be integrated with the wider Google Cloud ecosystem.
This service is now available in six global regions: Ashburn (us-east4), Salt Lake City (us-west3), Frankfurt (europe-west3), London (europe-west2), Tokyo (asia-northeast1) and Iowa (us-central1). Expansion to ten additional regions is underway: Montreal (northamerica-northeast1), Toronto (northamerica-northeast2), Delhi (asia-south2), Mumbai (asia-south1), Osaka (asia-northeast2), Sydney (australia-southeast1), Melbourne (australia-southeast2), Sao Paulo (southamerica-east1), Milan (europe-west8), and Turin (europe-west12).
