We’re thrilled to announce a major milestone in our deepening collaboration between Oracle and Red Hat—the OpenShift Console is now available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This powerful enhancement gives developers and operators a native, streamlined OpenShift experience—right from their OCI tenancy. No extra tooling. No additional setup. Just click, configure, and build.

This launch represents another critical step in the hardening of OpenShift on OCI, offering customers a more integrated, secure, and delightful way to manage their containerized workloads.

Why This Matters

In the past year we’ve partnered closely with Red Hat to optimize OpenShift for OCI’s enterprise-grade infrastructure. From virtual machines to GPUs and bare metal deployments, we’ve consistently delivered new capabilities that make OpenShift easier, faster, and more powerful on Oracle Cloud.

Now, with the OpenShift Console enabled directly inside OCI, customers can:

  • Provision and manage OpenShift clusters with a visual UI, eliminating manual CLI steps.
  • Benefit from a unified support model between Oracle and Red Hat for faster resolutions.
  • Leverage the global OCI footprint to run OpenShift where your business needs it.

What Customers Can Expect

This isn’t just a console—it’s a gateway to faster time-to-value for Kubernetes workloads. Whether you’re modernizing enterprise apps, building AI pipelines, or managing hybrid infrastructure, the OpenShift Console on OCI simplifies the path forward.

How to access the OpenShift Console

  1. Select Developer Services from the Navigation side bar, and click Red Hat OpenShift

Built for the Enterprise—With You in Mind

This launch also reflects the strong commitment between Oracle and Red Hat to co-engineer cloud-native solutions for the enterprise. Every feature of the OpenShift Console on OCI was designed with customer feedback, real-world challenges, and operational efficiency in mind.

And we’re just getting started.

With more innovations on the horizon—including GPU-backed OpenShift clusters, enhanced CI/CD integrations, and autoscaling with Cluster API—the OpenShift experience on OCI continues to evolve for your most mission-critical needs.
