I am Rajan Panchapakesan, a product manager in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure team. I'm excited to announce the availability of our industry-first Enterprise SLAs.
While other cloud vendors offer data plane availability SLAs, these only address one aspect of running your workload in the Cloud: the ability to reach your resources a certain percentage of time. This does not ensure that you can manage your resources or deploy new ones (control plane availability). Nor does an availability SLA guarantee your resources will meet any particular level of performance. Enterprise production workloads require all three of these characteristics in a public cloud environment.
Effective immediately, Oracle is providing the following SLAs for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure:
This comprehensive set of SLAs provides peace of mind to Enterprises that are transitioning to cloud. Each SLA has a stated uptime target and enables customers to apply for service credits, should we not meet these targets. Our SLAs are available to all new and existing customers. More details on the SLAs can be found in category 7 of our Pillar documents.
With these SLAs guaranteeing availability, manageability, and performance, Oracle stands behind our services, and our commitment to providing a cloud truly built for enterprise production workloads.
