The Oracle Cloud Marketplace continues to offer images and fully integrated solution stacks for leading security and networking products. At OpenWorld 2019, we're excited to team up with both new and long-time ISV partners to unveil security and networking offerings that are not only simple to deploy at a click, but also easy to consume. You have the flexibility to either bring your own license or leverage a paid listing (new this OpenWorld), and to pay as you go by the hour or use Oracle Universal Credits (UCM) and take advantage of a single, unified bill for partner and Oracle Cloud solutions.
Comprehensive core security and networking services are offered natively by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure first-party services, such as our virtual cloud networks (VCNs), security lists, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and network security groups. By leveraging integrated partner solutions, you can simplify security management for your hybrid cloud and multicloud scenarios. Many customers are already using these solutions in their on-premises environments or with other public cloud environments, and expect consistent security policy enforcement, logging, and reporting across both physical and cloud-enabled environments. That's where partner solutions can come in.
With the help of Oracle Cloud Marketplace solution stacks for security and networking products, you can migrate to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure by leveraging many of the products that you already know, at the same time creating consistent hybrid and multicloud connectivity between the Oracle Cloud, other public clouds and your on-premises environments. We’ll highlight a few of these solutions here.
Oracle ISV partner solutions can deliver advanced threat prevention security technologies like Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Application Delivery Controllers (ADC), IPsec VPN, Antivirus, Anti-Bot, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Let us explore a few key partners and their solutions.

Oracle Cloud customers might also need to ensure secure configuration over their operating systems while still being able to take advantage of the flexibility and agility of VMs in the cloud. For these customers, we're excited to team up with a new partner who provides security-hardened images and security benchmarks.
Customers can now use virtual images hardened in accordance with CIS benchmarks, a set of internationally recognized secure configuration guidelines used by thousands of organizations worldwide. Hardened images can help enterprises mitigate DDoS, insufficient authorization, and overlapping trust boundaries threats.
“CIS Benchmarks and standards are trusted worldwide by leading enterprises. It’s great to be collaborating with Oracle to update CIS Hardened Images and CIS Benchmarks for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure so that enterprises across the globe can better prevent security threats.” —Curtis Dukes, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Security Services

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure offers data encryption for our data storage and data management solutions by default, and a key management service. But some customers might have even more advanced data encryption needs. For example, you might require a form of data encryption called homomorphic encryption, which allows users or operators to search or even take computational action on encrypted data without decrypting the data. This section highlights an Oracle partner that provides this capability.
ShieldIO, the leading provider of real-time homomorphic encryption solutions, is making their Cyber Resilience solution, Developer Shield™ and ShieldIO MySQL Secure Autonomous Driver available as paid listings on Oracle Cloud Marketplace. ShieldIO Developer Shield™ helps organizations maintain security over their data across the entire data lifecycle, while enabling developers and testers access to the data that they need for development.
The solution secures live databases by using ShieldIO’s Secure Autonomous Drivers™ and KeyStore-less security. This ensures that sensitive fields can't be read in plain text but can still be fully searched. The data continues to be protected while development, testing, and analytics are performed. This allows for a faster, more robust, and more accurate testing cycle, and speeds time to market.
“We’re pleased to be one of the first ISV partners to allow customers to take advantage of unified billing of our joint solutions on Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Our relationship greatly extends our reach to customers that demand both enterprise-class security and agility. We use Oracle Cloud to install, demo and test our Developer Shield™ solution, and we believe the combination of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, database solutions and ShieldIO is ideal for enterprises looking to innovate and develop applications securely in the cloud.” —Simon Bain, Founder and Chief Technology Officer, ShieldIO
