We’re pleased to announce that offerings from Oracle Customer Success Services (CSS) are now available to customers deploying workloads on Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud. Customers now have access to more service and support offerings that comply with the same standards as EU Sovereign Cloud services.
CSS on EU Sovereign Cloud
Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud is a hyperscale cloud that addresses EU data residency and sovereignty needs while delivering over 150+ services with the same service level agreements (SLAs) and value offered in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)’s public cloud regions. We know that customers want the benefits and efficiency of the cloud but are increasingly concerned with control over their data and the ability to meet evolving regulatory requirements in hyperscale public clouds. Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud is designed to help meet these needs for both private companies in regulated industries and public sector organizations that use cloud computing to host their applications and sensitive data in the EU.
EU Sovereign Cloud is available globally, with two dedicated cloud regions in Madrid, Spain and Frankfurt, Germany. It’s located entirely within the EU, operated by separate legal entities incorporated within the EU, and restricts its operations personnel to EU residents.
The availability of CSS offering comes in response to the extraordinary demand that we’re seeing for Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud from nearly every country in the EU. This demand includes more than 20 industry sectors—notably government, professional services, financial services, healthcare, technology, and telecommunications—and from organizations of all sizes with a wide variety of implementation needs.
Oracle CSS provides EU Sovereign Cloud customers with a targeted suite of services to help them optimize and gain benefits faster from their cloud deployment, while delivering long-term value to customers.
CSS is completely integrated with Oracle’s product development teams to help EU Sovereign Cloud customers maximize the value of their investment, and collaborates with implementers across Oracle’s partner ecosystem to help ensure successful deployments.
Included services
Operational services deliver expertise to customers to enable them to run and operate their EU Sovereign Cloud implementation. Customers can choose the service level and structure that best fits their needs, with services fully managed by Oracle, jointly managed with the customer, or delivered as targeted advisory services to assist with specific functions. CSS can support the entire infrastructure environment for EU Sovereign Cloud, enabling customers to selectively offload technical administrative responsibilities for networks, servers, middleware, storage, or other functions. Operational services include the following examples:
- Solution Support Center Intelligent Operations – provides designated support and proactive risk prevention for any Oracle deployment on OCI, software as a service (SaaS), or hybrid combinations. - OCI Accelerator offers a holistic support bundle that provides more services for Oracle infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS) ecosystems. The service bundle includes a designated technical account manager who provides proactive support, cloud architectural guidance to help optimize business workloads, critical issues management, and advanced digital learning capabilities to improve user productivity.
- Oracle Cloud Priority Support for IaaS and PaaS delivers a more personalized level of support that provides faster incident resolution by combining priority handling of cloud-operation incidents and service requests with proactive guidance. This service helps keep systems running predictably, minimize disruption, and deliver a competitive advantage.
- Education and enablement services, such as (Oracle Cloud Learning Subscriptions and SaaS guided learning) provide training, certification, and guidance to help customers quickly adopt OCI services and educate internal users on new business processes and capabilities. This education is primarily led by Oracle University, Oracle’s comprehensive training and enablement platform used by thousands of Oracle customers around the world.
To deliver its services to EU Sovereign Cloud customers, Oracle CSS is deploying dedicated support tools and resources, including EU-based support personnel, under the EU legal entities designated to manage and operate EU Sovereign Cloud services. This support contribute to the necessary organizational and technical segregation of all EU Sovereign Cloud support services and enable CSS to deploy EU-hosted services across the entire customer lifecycle.
