Oracle Cloud Migrations (OCM) now supports VMware Virtual Disk Development Kit (VDDK) 8.0.3 for VMware-based migrations to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Customers using the latest Oracle Cloud Migrations replication appliance can configure VDDK 8.0.3 as a supported agent dependency while continuing to use existing VDDK 7.0.2 configurations where needed.
This update enables customers to use VDDK 8.0.3 and benefit from enhancements introduced across the VDDK 8.x release family, including newer runtime dependencies and alignment with current vSphere 8 environments. Customers can continue using VDDK 7.0.2 where required.
