Welcome back to ACE Spotlight, our weekly journey around the world to meet the people behind the expertise of the Oracle ACE community.

Each week brings us a different country, career journey, area of expertise, and perspective — but the same passion for learning, sharing knowledge, and helping others succeed.

This week, our journey takes us to Cairo, Egypt, where we meet

Oracle ACE Pro Nada Bashar

Nada Bashar

Nada’s Oracle journey began at college and has since taken her across Oracle Visual Builder, Integration, Process Automation, and now Agentic AI. And when she isn’t exploring technology, there’s a good chance you’ll find her watching a K-drama.

Let’s meet Nada!

🌍 Where in the World Are You?

I’m based in Cairo, Egypt. 🇪🇬

A fun fact about Cairo? Crossing the street can sometimes feel like playing a video game!

There are places where locals casually cross roads with traffic moving all around them — and somehow, they know exactly when to move.

🎉 Three Fun Facts About Me

I’m obsessed with K-pop and K-dramas.

I once wanted to be a detective.

And I don’t trust systems that say “no error.”

Sometimes, that’s exactly when I get the most worried. 😄

☕ My Perfect Weekend

My perfect weekend is all about switching off and relaxing.

Sleeping in, sharing memes with my best friends, binge-watching a good K-drama, and enjoying a completely stress-free day sounds just about perfect to me.

⭐ ACE Since…

I became an Oracle ACE in 2024.

🚀 My Oracle Journey

My Oracle journey started during college, when I first learned Oracle SQL Developer.

Through my brother, I began hearing about other Oracle technologies as well.

After graduation, I started learning Oracle Digital Assistant and exploring additional Oracle technologies through my work.

From there, my experience gradually expanded across the Oracle ecosystem — particularly into areas such as Oracle Visual Builder, Oracle Integration, and Process Automation.

What started with learning one Oracle tool at college became a much broader technology journey.

💡 One Oracle Tip Everyone Should Know

If you’re learning a new Oracle technology, take a look at Oracle LiveLabs.

LiveLabs gives you an opportunity to learn through hands-on practice instead of only reading about a technology.

For me, actually trying something is one of the best ways to understand how it works.

So if you’re exploring something new, check whether there’s a LiveLab for it — and start experimenting.

🛠️ A Project I’m Proud Of

One project I’m particularly proud of was a management system built using Oracle Visual Builder, Oracle Database, Oracle Process Cloud Service, and OCI Document Generator.

The system generates documents based on data uploaded by users.

One of the biggest challenges was designing dynamic screens that could adapt to different document templates, because each template could contain a completely different set of fields.

The solution also involved integrations with external APIs for tasks such as generating PDFs and combining multiple DOCX files into a single document.

What made the project memorable was the challenge of bringing together several different Oracle technologies and integrations to create a flexible solution that could adapt as the business requirements changed.

📚 What I’m Learning Right Now

Right now, I’m exploring Agentic AI in Oracle Integration 3.

It’s an exciting area because it adds another dimension to integration — moving beyond simply connecting systems toward exploring how intelligent agents can participate in processes and workflows.

And, as always, there’s plenty more to learn.

💬 Ask Me About…

Oracle Visual Builder
Oracle Integration
Oracle Process Automation

These are the Oracle technologies I’m happiest to discuss and help others with.

And if the Oracle conversation is finished for the day, you can always ask me what K-drama I’m watching. 🎬

🌟 Advice for Aspiring Oracle ACEs

Being an Oracle ACE isn’t just about technical knowledge.

It’s also about sharing that knowledge and contributing to the community.

Share what you know, no matter how small you think it is.

Something that seems simple or obvious to you might be exactly what someone else needs to help them begin their own journey.

This week, ACE Spotlight took us to Cairo, Egypt — and introduced us to a journey that began with SQL Developer at college and continues today with Agentic AI and Oracle Integration.

Nada’s story also highlights something that comes up repeatedly as we meet members of the Oracle ACE community:

You don’t have to know everything before you start sharing.

A tip, an experiment, a solution to a problem, or something you discovered while learning may seem small to you — but to someone else, it could be the piece of information they’ve been looking for.

That exchange of knowledge is how a global technology community becomes a human community.
