I am thrilled to introduce the new Oracle Academy Community. This dedicated online space is open to Oracle Academy faculty and Ambassadors and marks an exciting step forward in how we connect, collaborate, and support educators worldwide in teaching with Oracle technologies.

What is the Oracle Academy Community—and what sets it apart?

The Oracle Academy Community is much more than a typical online forum or mailing list. It was designed specifically for educators who are passionate about sharing technology with students. Unlike general-purpose platforms, every conversation and resource here is tailored to the real needs and challenges faced by faculty members. Our goal is to provide a secure and welcoming environment where members can easily collaborate, seek advice, and access practical resources that enrich their teaching.

Why bring together Ambassadors and faculty in a dedicated community?

The unique strength of our community lies in connecting Oracle Academy Ambassadors—seasoned Oracle experts and program advocates—with faculty members who are teaching every day. This brings together expertise, fresh perspectives, and firsthand teaching experience, creating dynamic opportunities to learn from each other. Ambassadors have deep product knowledge and can share updates, best practices, and tips. Faculty members, on the other hand, can surface their own needs and ideas, which keeps our programs grounded and responsive to the real world. This exchange fosters innovation and accelerates the adoption of impactful teaching strategies.

How does engaging in the Oracle Academy Community enhance professional growth and broaden impact?

Participation in the Oracle Academy Community is a powerful way to drive your own professional development. Through lively discussions and resource sharing, you can learn from colleagues around the world and expand your network. It’s a great place to find inspiration, brainstorm solutions, and celebrate successes—like launching new student projects or earning a certification. By sharing your experiences, not only do you grow individually, but you also help shape the broader global Oracle Academy Community, multiplying your positive impact on students everywhere.

How do Oracle Academy members support each other?

One of the most rewarding aspects of our community is how members actively engage and support one another. There’s always someone ready to help—whether by answering a technical question, sharing a lesson plan, or offering advice on teaching challenges. Members celebrate each other’s accomplishments and work collaboratively on new ideas, all in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Why should Oracle Academy Ambassadors join the Oracle Academy Community?

The Oracle Academy Community provides Oracle Academy Ambassadors with a dedicated space to connect and collaborate with faculty and fellow Ambassadors worldwide, making it easy to share expertise, coordinate guest lectures, and work together on educational initiatives. The Community enables Ambassadors to engage with faculty to answer questions, provide guidance, and share best practices and resources in a centralized forum.

Additionally, it offers access to essential tools, materials, and updates tailored to support Ambassadors in their role. By participating, Ambassadors also stay informed about the latest Oracle Academy news, upcoming events, new resources, and exciting opportunities to get involved.

A personal note

Having worked for more than 25 years at the intersection of technology and education, I am continually inspired by the passion and commitment of Oracle Academy members. My own journey has taught me the value of innovation and community-based learning, and I am thrilled to see those values come alive every day in our new online space. I invite you to join us, collaborate, and maximize the opportunities our community offers—not only for your own professional growth but for the benefit of learners worldwide.
