Oracle Academy Silver Sponsor of EDUTech Conference and Exhibition 2023, Amsterdam

Oracle Academy was a key sponsor of the two-day EDUTech Conference and Exhibition in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on October 11-12, which hosted over 300 inspiring speakers covering the pressing topics on the minds of educators today — including digital strategy, generative AI, teacher training, pedagogy for digital learning, sustainability, cybersecurity, and the digital divide.

The event consisted of an exhibition hosting 200-plus of the world’s leading education technology players showcasing cutting-edge EdTech solutions and featuring the most innovative start-ups across the region. Over 2,500 attendees from primary, secondary, and higher education joined the event from all over EMEA.

Danny Gooris, Director, Oracle Academy EMEA, was a speaker for one of the panel discussions on day 2 of the event. He spoke on the topic: “Shift happens: Partnering with industry to prepare learners for the tech-integrated future of work.”

He addressed several key points, such as:

• How to keep up with rapid changes in educational technology;
• Collaboration between education and industry, with a common goal to close the ICT skills gap;
• Why industry certifications are important to teachers and students.

Oracle Academy was present at the exhibition to connect with current Oracle Academy Institutional members attending the event and to speak with educators and leaders in the field who are not yet acquainted with the program.
