The 2026 Technovation Girls Regional Pitch Event (Senior Division) at the University of Lagos, Nigeria, brought together over 50 girls from across Lagos to pitch tech-based solutions addressing community problems.

Organized by CODES Foundation as part of the global Technovation Girls initiative, and held on May 22, 2026, the event marked the culmination of 14 weeks of teamwork, coding, and innovation. The event featured a welcome address, icebreakers, live pitches, judge deliberations, feedback, awards, and certificate presentations.

Technovation Girls is a global tech education program that equips girls with the skills needed to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. This year’s Lagos Regional Pitch Event provided participants with the opportunity to present their solutions to a panel of industry professionals including Oracle Volunteers, receive valuable feedback, and celebrate their achievements alongside fellow innovators.

Oracle Academy played a significant role in the success of the event by hosting the Senior Division pitches and supporting the overall experience for participants.
