The school year 2025 – 2026 kick started with a Student Inspiration & Career event, organized by Oracle and its partners on October 29, 2025, at the Oracle office in the Netherlands. We were pleased to see students immersed in the world of Oracle technology — exploring how our partners and customers work with Oracle solutions, learning about the latest developments in AI, and discovering exciting career paths with Oracle and our partner ecosystem.
Educator and student attendees showed a high level of engagement during this Student Inspiration & Career event. Keynotes covered Oracle’s impact and provided insights into technology developed by Oracle. Attendees had the opportunity to learn firsthand how it’s applied in diverse industries by Oracle partners.
Wilfred Scholman, Oracle Country Leader, Netherlands, explained that “60% of the data that shapes and structures our daily lives — from optimizing business processes to improving consumer experiences — is connected to Oracle technology!”
Rik Bleeker, Oracle Academy Program Manager, Benelux and DACH, expressed that Oracle Academy provides educators and students — the future of technology — access to free technology education resources for teaching and learning.
The students explored career opportunities such as open jobs and internships, and had the chance to network with professionals: Representatives from Oracle and its key partners. They were able to expand their professional networks and get answers to their questions about technology and careers in tech. Learn more here.
The partners covered breakout sessions on a range of topics, including:
- Future-Proofing Nexeye’s Oracle Platform with APEX
- Two Paths, One Platform: ‘How Oracle Shaped Our Careers’
- Oracle Analytics Cloud: From Information Gathering to the Perfect Dashboard
- Safe, Smart, and in the Cloud: The Perined Story
- The DOC DNA: Making a Difference in a World Driven by Data Transparency in the Cloud — No Fog, Just Strategy
Samara Lalmy, director A&C Tech and Cloud Systems Benelux, noted, “There is still a lot of need for new talent in the market, and an event like this helps a lot to not just position Oracle as a brand, but also to really bring the talent to Oracle and its partners.”
The students had fun trying to drive faster than famed driver Max Verstappen in the Oracle Red Bull race simulators, which illustrate the work of Oracle in data-driven sports.
A special thank you to Oracle partners Full Orbit, Anchr, MCX Administration Services, The DOC, Transfer Solutions, PWC and Sopra Steria for joining us and helping make this day truly inspiring!
