Oracle Academy was honored to participate in the ACOTEC 2025 conference, organized by ACOmarket and hosted at the renowned Technical University of Vienna, Austria. This dynamic event provided an outstanding opportunity to connect with more than 200 university leaders, faculty, and students, as well as representatives from the wider academic research community.
During the conference, the Oracle Academy team highlighted our commitment to advancing technology education globally. Attendees who visited the booth discovered our rich portfolio of learning resources, curriculum, and professional development opportunities designed to empower educators and inspire students.
Our programs span cloud computing, artificial intelligence, data management, and more—supporting academic institutions in preparing students for the technology-driven future.
A key highlight of the event was the engaging dialogue held between Oracle Academy staff and university professors about the transformative role of generative AI in academia. Together, we explored how generative AI is poised to impact research workflows, teaching methods, and student learning. The discussions also focused on ethical best practices and the need to continually upskill faculty and students as new AI applications evolve.
A number of educators at the event were specifically interested in the Oracle Academy Cloud Program.
The Technical University of Vienna, with its historic reputation as the site of Europe’s first fully transistorized computer—the “Mailüfterl”—created the perfect setting to celebrate the spirit of innovation. Oracle Academy is proud to continue this legacy by collaborating with academic institutions, delivering educational resources and supporting technology adoption in research and teaching.
