The INOAUG Oracle APEX User Confederation is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together IT professionals, business leaders, and student communities interested in Oracle APEX no-code/low-code application development. INOAUG conducts APEX USTAV events across India annually, focused on product updates, technical knowledge, and hands-on sessions on Oracle APEX.

During this year’s event, Oracle Academy cosponsored and had the privilege of running Oracle Academy member-exclusive breakout sessions at Pune, Cochin, and  Chennai, and group huddles at Ahmedabad and Kolkata. Oracle Academy had invited guest speakers that included Oracle technology experts providing insights about Oracle and its products. Plus, Oracle Academy collaborators and expert faculty members shared their journey with Oracle Academy and a few best practices on leveraging Oracle Academy technology education resources. The breakout sessions were crafted specifically for the educational audience.

Oracle Academy shares Oracle APEX and teaching resources with educational audience

INOAUG event IndiaWith the increasing trend of Oracle Academy’s presence at Oracle APEX-focused events, this year more than 150 faculty members and partner representatives from 60-plus institutions participated in the event throughout the day across 30-plus cities.

As an example to our vision of “Classroom to Careers,” the event featured multiple representatives from corporates and industry in discussions with academia members about career opportunities for students with Oracle APEX expertise.   

Oracle Tech Experts – Mr. Ananth Jagannathan, Senior Director, Oracle Banking Consulting; Mr. Koratamaddi Chaitanya Shanker, Director of Product Management/Strategy; and Mr. Patrick Solanki, Master Principal Solutions Engineer, enthralled the academicians with a variety of insights on Oracle Technology and equipped them with detailed inputs on helping students build careers in the technology space.  

Oracle Academy Collaborators – Mr. Shrikant, ICT Academy; Mr. Saravanan, ICT Academy; and Mr. Babji Neelam, Aditya University, attended the event at Chennai and addressed the audience on a few key initiatives and challenges impacting higher education in India.

The Member Hub hands-on workshop created significant and productive discussion forums that dealt with various aspects and features of the members-only Oracle Academy Member Hub platform.

Overall, the educational audience thoroughly enjoyed the event and have vouched to be active and explore Oracle Academy resources for their own learning and teaching their students.
