Oracle Academy, in association with TASK, Telangana, brought generative AI and agentic AI into focus through an engaging webinar. The session connected emerging AI concepts with project frameworks, cloud technology, and the skills needed for agent engineering.
For Oracle Academy, the session provided an opportunity to connect the academic community with technical expertise and encourage continued learning. The discussion gave participants several starting points for expanding their knowledge on agentic AI.
Representing Oracle Academy, Neema Madathingal, Program Manager, supported and coordinated the webinar in collaboration with TASK and an Oracle technical expert. She worked closely with all stakeholders to align the session’s objectives and coordinate preparations for its delivery.
The speaker Venkateswaran Krishnan (Venkat), Senior Director, Gen AI Development at IDC, delivered an insightful presentation covering Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), frameworks for AI projects, capabilities of Codex, and skills for building AI agents. His engaging delivery brought these topics together in a discussion of how learners can approach AI development and identify areas for further exploration.
This Oracle Academy webinar was attended by 600 participants, comprising students and faculty members. The session received positive feedback on the quality of its content, the effectiveness of its delivery, and the speaker’s subject matter expertise.
The session’s focus on OCI also connects with opportunities to explore cloud learning through Oracle Academy. The Oracle Academy Cloud Program provides eligible institutional members and their students with access to Oracle Cloud Free Tier for teaching, learning, and developing in the cloud. These resources offer a pathway for continued cloud exploration beyond the session.
