As the Official Education Partner of the APTIKOM Outcome-Based Education (OBE) Teaching and Learning Series 2026, Oracle Academy supported workshops at Telkom University in Bandung in July and UPN Veteran Yogyakarta in September, engaging more than 80 participants in total — advancing OBE through industry-aligned learning, digital skills development, and stronger academia-industry collaboration in Indonesia.
Organized by APTIKOM (Asosiasi Pendidikan Tinggi Informatika dan Komputer), the workshops helped educators explore competency-based curricula, authentic assessments, measurable learning outcomes, and professional student portfolios aligned with industry needs.
During and following the events, more than 30 new Oracle Academy memberships were created across institutions and individual faculty members.

Connecting academic curriculum and technology
Nurul Huda, Oracle Academy Manager for Southeast Asia, presented “Integrating Oracle Academy Curriculum and the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) into Semester Learning Plans (RPS).” The presentation built on a 2022 collaboration with APTIKOM to map Oracle Academy curriculum to KKNI. She also highlighted Oracle Academy’s free educational resources in Oracle Cloud, Java, Database, Oracle APEX, and AI to support industry-aligned teaching and digital skills development.
Sukmana, Oracle Academy Program Manager for Indonesia, demonstrated how educators can access and integrate Oracle Academy resources into classroom learning through the Member Hub, including how institutions can enroll for free Oracle Academy membership.
Together, the sessions reinforced Oracle Academy’s commitment to empowering educators, strengthening industry-relevant curricula, and preparing future-ready graduates. The workshops provided opportunities for faculty engagement, knowledge sharing, and networking.

Building on a longstanding collaboration
An Oracle Academy partner since 2016, APTIKOM represents more than 1,000 higher education institutions and 14,000 individual members, with a provincial leadership network (Pengurus Provinsi) across 37 Indonesian provinces.
Prof. Husni Teja Sukmana, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., Chair of APTIKOM, noted, “We appreciate Oracle Academy’s longstanding commitment to advancing computing education in Indonesia. Through its collaboration with APTIKOM, Oracle Academy supports educators with industry-relevant learning resources and helps connect academic curricula with workforce needs. This partnership strengthens our efforts to implement Outcome-Based Education and prepare graduates with the practical knowledge and digital skills needed for their future careers.”
Upcoming workshops are planned for Bali and Palembang, South Sumatra, extending the series’ opportunities for educator engagement.
