We’re excited to add another fun and engaging workshop option to our collection of Oracle Academy workshops: RelativityLand.

This new workshop is Oracle Academy’s first STEM science workshop. It presents Einstein’s special theory of relativity. Each of the four lessons centers on interactive JavaScript simulations, in which students manipulate their flying saucers to explore famous paradoxes and take measurements, right there in their browsers. Each lesson contains exercises to test learning, as well as an explanatory video and lesson slides, both with clickable links to launch the simulations.

This new offering adds to our collection of Oracle Academy Workshops in a Box that make learning fun and engaging for students, especially those in late secondary school and those interested in pursuing science-related fields at the collegiate level.

“We’re pleased to offer this new workshop in our exploratory learning toolkit,” said William McCabe, Vice President, Oracle Academy. “Our workshops make learning fun and are a great way to get students interested and engaged in STEAM subjects. They can gain introductory knowledge to help them explore and determine which direction they want to head in their studies, and eventually, careers.”

This workshop is well suited to be employed by math and science teachers, as well as by parents and clubs as a hands-on activity or extracurricular tool for learning.
