Recently the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan held a successful meeting with Oracle, where the discussion focused on potential collaboration. The meeting concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The agreement sets out a framework for joint efforts in expanding digital education and skills development in Uzbekistan. It includes introducing the Oracle Academy program to universities and higher education institutions to provide educators with free training and technology education resources, as well as creating broader access to digital learning paths and professional certifications through Oracle University and raising awareness of intellectual property rights and compliance. Together with the Digital Education Development Center, these initiatives will promote opportunities for students and other citizens to strengthen their digital competencies and prepare for in-demand careers.
Oracle Academy helps bridge the technology skills gap as a free philanthropic educational program for educators and their students — offering free technology education curriculum, software, cloud and other resources, and continuously updated training for educators.
Oracle University provides a comprehensive portfolio of professional training, certification, and digital adoption solutions to empower organizations and professionals to gain the skills and expertise they need to be successful with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database, and Oracle Fusion Cloud and Industry Applications.
Oracle is committed to closing the digital skills gap and helping the next generation of technology leaders develop the skills and expertise they’ll need to succeed. Through the Skills Development Initiatives, Oracle University collaborates with government institutions, nongovernmental organizations, and national agencies to accelerate digital transformation initiatives around the world by jointly investing in developing local technology talent and supporting job placements.
