Oracle Academy, in collaboration with Oracle Volunteers Indonesia, successfully hosted FutureTech Immersion: Inspiring the Next Generation of Innovators at the Oracle Indonesia office in Jakarta.

Held in two batches on September 21 and October 12, 2026, the program brought together more than 120 students from 13 educational institutions, representing six vocational high schools (SMK) and seven universities.

The first session welcomed 47 vocational high school students and teachers, followed by 64 university students in the second session. Both sessions offered opportunities to explore emerging technologies, gain industry perspectives, and engage directly with Oracle professionals.

Exploring AI, innovation, and career opportunities

Through engaging presentations and interactive discussions, participants explored artificial intelligence (AI), emerging technology trends, Oracle Academy and AI, and Oracle APEX with AI. The sessions demonstrated how technology drives innovation, supports application development, and creates new opportunities across industries.

Students also learned directly from Oracle professionals across various teams, including Fusion Cloud Applications, Solution Engineering, Oracle Solution Center, and Support Renewal. These professionals shared their career journeys, industry experiences, essential workplace skills, and perspectives on building successful careers in technology. Interactive Q&A sessions encouraged meaningful conversations and inspired students to explore their future career possibilities.

Another highlight was the Oracle office immersion experience, offering students a firsthand glimpse into the workplace environment of a global technology company and helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices.
