Recently for the 2026 school year, Oracle Academy was pleased to introduce new AI-focused resources for teaching and learning: Generative AI workshops and AI Education Bytes.

Member educators and their students now have access to FREE Oracle Academy resources that provide hands-on practice with AI from Oracle, an AI leader. These learning resources offer students engaging options for understanding and getting hands-on experience in working with artificial intelligence.

These resources equip students with foundational AI knowledge and practical skills, helping them prepare for an exciting and increasingly tech-driven future and getting them ready for what’s next.

They include:

Generative AI Workshops

Within our Oracle Academy workshop resources, generative AI-focused workshops present beginner level content using the integration and application of Generative Artificial Intelligence technologies within Oracle Cloud services, applications, and infrastructure.

Embedding Generative AI in an APEX Application

This workshop provides an introduction on how to get started with AI by creating an Oracle APEX application and configuring generative AI services in Oracle APEX.

Using AI to Create SQL and an APEX Application

This workshop introduces the concepts of using an AI Assistant to help generate SQL code and a fully functioning application without having to write a single line of code.

Students must be the age of legal majority in their country of residence to access an Oracle Cloud account through the Oracle Academy Cloud Program.

This Education Byte provides instructions for creating a Digital Assistant using the Oracle Digital Assistant and AI services to build skills, utterances, entities, dialog flows, and conversation flows to train and tune the digital assistant.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Select AI

This Education Byte contains the material from Section 13 of the Applied Database Systems 23ai course, focusing on defining Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI and LLMs, Select AI in Autonomous Database, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and Synthetic Data Generation (SDG).

Introduction to Vector Search with Oracle Database 23ai

This Education Byte contains the material from Section 14 of the Applied Database Systems 23ai course, which explains the new converged database capability introduced in Oracle Database 23ai. Oracle AI Vector Search uses vectors to enable fast and simple similarity search queries on both structured and unstructured data and enables prompts to large language models (LLMs) to be augmented with private business data or domain knowledge.
