In December 2025, Oracle Hungary proudly hosted an inspiring Oracle Academy Day for teachers at its Budapest office — a dynamic event designed to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration within the education community, discussing the impact of cutting-edge technologies with a focus on practical application in teaching.

The event kicked off with a welcome coffee, followed by an introduction led by Attila Laszlo, Database Platform Sales Representative. He spoke about local as well as global development and rapid technology change, and set the stage by highlighting Oracle’s commitment to innovation, with a focus on AI and cloud technologies.

Participants were treated to an engaging presentation on professional data management by Tamás Kerepes, Managing Director at Webváltó Kft., who showcased useful features in Oracle Databases from his rich experience.

Oracle Academy Program Manager Ljiljana Krkic provided an overview of the Oracle Academy and its comprehensive curriculum offerings. Various models of cooperation between Oracle and the educational sector were discussed in a warm atmosphere that buzzed with enthusiasm and active participation. The engaging audience contributed to a vibrant, thought-provoking day filled with insightful discussions and practical takeaways.

After a lively lunch break, the program continued with a practical session on using Oracle Cloud in education, presented by Peter Urbin, IT Teacher at Petrik Lajos Bilingual Technical School. Attendees left with actionable ideas and enthusiasm for integrating Oracle technologies into their teaching.

In addition to the expert-led sessions, one of the standout aspects of the day was the collaborative environment. Teachers eagerly exchanged experiences and best practices, sparking meaningful conversations about how technology can transform the classroom.

Another highlight of the event was the focus on practical application. Rather than just discussing theory, the speakers emphasized real-world use cases, demonstrating how Oracle Database solutions, AI, and Cloud services can be implemented in everyday teaching. This practical approach resonated with participants, who left the event armed with concrete strategies and new ideas to bring back to their schools and universities.

The conference wrapped up with a Q&A session, practical guidelines, and closing remarks, leaving everyone energized by their new connections and insights.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and contributed to the success of the Oracle Academy Day in Budapest. The positive feedback and engagement from attendees motivate us to continue creating opportunities for educators to connect, learn, and grow with Oracle’s innovative technologies.

We look forward to continuing this journey of innovation and collaboration together!
