The eLearning Africa Conference and Exhibition 2026 edition, held at Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra, Ghana, from June 3-5, 2026, was themed, ‘Africa’s Time, Africa’s Terms: Learning for Sovereignty, Strength, and Solidarity’. It was a mix of innovation, education, and technology, bringing together educators, tech enthusiasts, and thought leaders from across Africa and beyond.

Among the many notable exhibitors, Oracle Academy’s exhibition stood out, offering an inspiring look at how cutting-edge technology education can be harnessed to revolutionize education. Oracle Academy’s participation at the conference underscored Oracle’s commitment to empowering educators and students through technology, showcasing a range of initiatives and tools designed to enhance learning experiences and bridge educational gaps.

The exhibition stand was designed to be highly interactive, allowing attendees to engage directly with Oracle Academy’s team, made up of Danny Gooris, Regional Director, Oracle Academy EMEA & JAPAC, and Bekere Amassoma, Program Manager, Oracle Academy, Sub Saharan Africa. Over the three-day exhibition, the Oracle Academy booth drew more than 300 visitors, demonstrating strong interest from educators, students, institutional leaders, technology stakeholders, and other participants in the education ecosystem.

One of the main attractions was the demonstration of the Oracle Academy Cloud Program and the new data center curriculum. This curriculum helps learners build foundational knowledge and practical, job-ready skills needed to succeed in modern data center careers with industry-aligned education—making graduates job ready and able to hit the ground running with real-world operational skills. Designed for community college and technical and vocational education, Oracle Academy data center curricula combine technical concepts with hands-on operational instruction to help educators equip the next generation of AI, cloud, and infrastructure professionals with the confidence, skills, and industry-relevant experience they need to fill entry-level data center technical roles in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

The stand visitors were able to see how educators can use the Oracle Academy academic curriculum for teaching and learning to prepare students to become tomorrow’s technology innovators and leaders.

Recognizing the important role of educators in the learning process, Oracle Academy placed a strong emphasis on teacher empowerment. The exhibition featured a range of professional development resources aimed at helping teachers integrate technology into their classrooms effectively with Oracle Academy teaching and learning resources. The program offers a range of curricula, cloud, support, software licenses, Oracle Academy Education Bytes, career-based learning content, professional development opportunities, and more.

The impact of Oracle Academy’s work extends far beyond the conference, as the program continues to drive innovation and foster a global community of educators dedicated to ensuring that every student can succeed in the digital age.
