The award recognizes Oracle Academy as the ‘Supportive International Organisation of the Year,’ honoring our measurable impact, innovation, and unwavering commitment to advancing educational outcomes within Nigeria’s IT sector. The NCS, through its National Executive Council and entire membership, commended Oracle Academy for active engagement and fruitful collaboration with both the Society and the broader IT community in Nigeria.
Bekere Amassoma, Oracle Academy Program Manager, received the award on behalf of Oracle Academy. This recognition from the Nigeria Computer Society is particularly meaningful as it underscores the tangible results of Oracle Academy’s efforts to support capacity-building and skills development through a coalition with influential industry and academic stakeholders. Oracle Academy’s collaboration with the Nigeria Computer Society, which has spanned more than half a decade, has fostered knowledge-sharing initiatives, professional development, and curriculum innovation, all aimed at preparing future generations for successful careers using the latest technology knowledge and skills.
