In the rapidly evolving digital economy, the disconnect between academic theory and practical industry application remains a challenge for educators worldwide. To address this, Oracle Academy and KMITL Business School (KBS) strengthened their strategic collaboration with a dedicated learning session: “Bridging the Gap: Education to Industry.”

Held on January 7, 2026, at the KMITL Business School, this event brought together faculty members and industry experts to explore how Oracle NetSuite can shape the learning experience and better prepare students for the modern business workforce. Read more here.

A strategic collaboration for educational excellence

The core objective of this collaboration is to empower KBS faculty with world-class resources. By integrating Oracle Academy’s curriculum and Oracle NetSuite technology into teaching, KBS is taking a proactive step to ensure its graduates possess not just theoretical knowledge, but the hands-on skills currently demanded by top employers.

This collaboration underscores a shared commitment: to close the skills gap in fresh graduates and to foster a new generation of professionals who are ready to navigate the complexities of global business.

Unlocking the power of the cloud with ERP and analytics

At the session, experts Pongpant Ronnakit, Oracle NetSuite, and Chinnawat Khottassa, Oracle Academy, showcased how Oracle NetSuite’s cloud suite transforms teaching and learning. Faculty discovered new ways to bring core business processes—enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), supply chain management (SCM), and ecommerce—directly into teaching and learning. The spotlight was on business intelligence and analytics, enabling students to develop critical, real-world decision-making skills that set them apart in today’s data-driven economy.

Oracle Academy at KBS unlocks free access to top-notch learning resources and industry-recognized certifications—like NetSuite Financial Associate, AI Foundations, and BI & Reporting. These credentials provide graduates with a true edge in the job market, showcasing real expertise.

Looking ahead

This “Bridging the Gap” session was just the beginning. As the digital landscape evolves, our collaboration with KBS and other academic institutions will continue to keep education relevant and based in the real world, empowering future innovators and leaders with the technology knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
