On March 24, 2023, Oracle Academy partnered with Zetech University and the Global Peace Foundation Kenya for the annual Teacher’s Bootcamp aimed at enhancing the technical knowledge and skills of educators in Kenya under the theme ‘Data Analytics & Machine Learning for Educators: A Hands-on Workshop using Oracle Analytics.’ The hybrid event focused on equipping educators with the necessary skills and tools to integrate data analytics and machine learning into their teaching.
In today’s digital age, data analytics and machine learning are becoming increasingly essential skills for educators to keep up with the evolving needs of their students and optimize their teaching strategies. This bootcamp was designed to provide educators with a comprehensive understanding of data analytics and machine learning concepts, as well as hands-on experience in using Oracle Analytics to analyze and interpret education-related data. They learned how to create visualizations and dashboards that assist in identifying trends and patterns in student performance, personalizing learning experiences, and making data-driven decisions.
Throughout the hands-on bootcamp, our expert Oracle facilitators guided the educators through various exercises and projects, allowing them to apply their learning in a practical setting.
