Eight new awards were presented to Oracle in Greece in the past months of FY23, recognizing the continuous contribution of Oracle Academy to the Greek educational system. More specifically, Oracle Academy received the following awards:

  • Three Silver and One Bronze Educational Leaders Awards 2023 in the Innovation in Teaching, Educational App/Platform, Best Learning Experience and Online/Distance Learning categories for Oracle Academy as a best practice in the educational sector and its valuable contribution to the Greek educational system.
  • One Bronze Cloud Computing Awards 2023 in the IaaS Product category. Cloud computing curriculum and resources available to educators through Oracle Academy give students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with modern technologies.
  • One Silver Hellenic Responsible Business Award 2023 in the Quality Education category as one of Oracle’s long-term investment initiatives for education in Greece, contributing to the country’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 for Quality Education.
  • One Bronze HR Award 2022 in the Best Sustainability Initiative category, nominated and awarded for the first time for Oracle Academy’s contribution to advancing technology education to strengthen the future of IT professionals.
  • One Silver Business IT Excellence Award 2022 in the Social Contribution/CSR category for Oracle’s consistent investment in computer science education through its social impact strategy.

Oracle Academy has received more than 40 Cloud Computing, Education Leaders, Responsible Business, Business IT Excellence, HR and Bravo Sustainability awards since 2016, clearly illustrating the consistency and effectiveness of the program in Greece and globally.

Oracle Academy continues Oracle’s commitment to education, which spans more than 25 years and is a part of the company’s legacy. These awards show that we are making a social impact in our communities and education sector.

Awards were received by Eleni Tsipa, Program Manager for Greece, Cyprus, Malta, Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia, on behalf of Oracle Hellas.
