This year’s TN’Teens 2025 event was a fantastic opportunity for Oracle staff to engage directly with the next generation of digital talent. Hosted at the Techsense offices in Strassen, Luxembourg, a team of Oracle experts delivered two energetic 90-minute sessions to groups of around 30 curious and motivated students.

The goal? To spark curiosity, share our passion for data and technology, and offer a first hands-on experience with the tools that power some of the world’s most essential applications.

The presenters kicked things off with an exciting Formula 1-themed video showcasing Oracle’s collaboration with Red Bull Racing — an engaging way to capture attention and demonstrate how data drives performance, not just in business, but also on the racetrack.

Sebastien Hans, VP, CSS EMEA Service Solution Architecture and Country Leader, Oracle Luxembourg, opened the session with a warm welcome, setting the stage for a morning full of exploration and discovery. Thomas Minne, Data Security Specialist, then took the lead with a fun quiz to test the students’ knowledge about Oracle, followed by a short presentation that explained the critical role Oracle plays in the digital world — powering many of the apps and services students use every day.

The highlight of the session was the SQL Treasure Game, an interactive, hands-on workshop built around an Olympic Games database provisioned in Oracle Cloud. Students worked independently to run SQL queries, uncover hidden information, and piece together a secret code to solve the challenge. This engaging game was their first real encounter with SQL, one of the fundamental technologies behind Oracle’s flagship database solutions. It not only introduced them to the logic of querying data but also demonstrated how structured information can be turned into actionable insights. To wrap up the workshop, the team surprised the students with a demo of SQL AI — a smart assistant that enhances querying capabilities through artificial intelligence. It brought the session full circle, showing how modern tools can help people better understand and leverage their data. Sebastien Hans perfectly captured the spirit of the day: “At Oracle, we believe in the power of early inspiration — and TN'Teens 2025 was the perfect opportunity to connect with the next generation of tech talent. It was energizing to see these students dive into data, ask smart questions, and get hands-on with tools like SQL and AI. If this is any indication of what’s ahead, the future of innovation looks incredibly bright.” This event was more than just a workshop — it was a spark, a moment where young people got a taste of what’s possible with technology, and we had the chance to witness their excitement first-hand. Oracle Academy is proud to support initiatives like TN'Teens and looks forward to continuing to inspire the innovators of tomorrow. A special thank you to Sebastien Hans, Lucile Oger, Thomas Minne, and Gilles Haro for their invaluable support in making Oracle Academy’s participation in TN'Teens 2025 a great success once again.
