Oracle has once again announced the annual extension of support for PeopleSoft, maintaining the rolling 10 years of support that customers rely on.

  • The Lifetime Support Policy datasheet for Applications has been updated, reflecting all PeopleSoft continuous delivery releases remain supported for at least 10 years – now through at least 2036.
  • Oracle continues commitment to a rolling 10 years of support for PeopleSoft. We have extended support annually for the last seven years.

 

Oracle’s predictable support model is the foundation that enables the PeopleSoft community to thrive. Customers are adopting new features, deploying new modules, making strategic investments to increase value while lowering costs, and adopting cloud technology and applications.

 

In the past year, the PeopleSoft team has delivered 12 update images. These images include legislative updates, new functional and strategic capabilities, modern technology investments, and delivery of the most requested ideas from our customers.

In the next eighteen months, our PeopleTools and Application teams are working on:

  • Styling of individual homepage, section, and tile objects using CSS styling with PeopleTools 8.62 that expands the art of the possible on the PeopleSoft homepage
  • New homepage experience called the “PeopleSoft Landing Page” that brings a single, modern user experience across all targeted roles with navigation and helpful content to guide users to their work when they first land in PeopleSoft
  • Smart Prompts & Drop Downs with PeopleTools 8.62 to track most relevant and frequently used values to improve user data entry productivity and efficiency
  • More Insights are planned for Customizations, Workforce Turnover and Movement, Match Exceptions, and Inventory PAR Replenishment
  • Expansion of capabilities, productivity and efficiency with Fluid WorkCenters
    • New and Enhanced Fluid WorkCenters in Lease Management, Maintenance Management, Human Resources, Absence Management, and Recruiting
    • Adoption of Work Management in WorkCenters that helps better organize, assign, view history, and notify users of tasks and work that is pending
    • Adoption of Interactive and Embedded Insights in WorkCenters to help visualize and support the everyday work of the administrator
  • New HCM features like Badging Achievements, Citizenship and Work Permits Self Service, Mass Earning/Deduction Assignments, and Mass Absence Generation to improve productivity and efficiency
  • New FSCM features like Direct Journal Improvement, Expense Amortization from Scanned/Imported Invoice, and Asset Tracking with Scanned Asset Codes using the Device Camera
  • And Much, Much More!
