We’re excited to announce that Redwood UX—the modern, intuitive design system from Oracle—is now coming to Siebel applications on tablet devices with the Siebel CRM 26.1 release.
Our journey started with Redwood UX for Siebel employee-facing desktop applications in version 24.6, extended to partner applications in version 25.3, and now, we’re delivering this innovation to your teams on the go.
The full power and functionality of Siebel’s feature-rich applications, now reimagined with a modern Redwood user experience optimized for tablet devices. The design enables intuitive, touch-first interactions while intelligently adapting to available screen real estate, and it fully supports both connected and disconnected modes.
Unified, modern experience across every form factor
Tablet users experience the same Redwood design language used in employee-facing desktop and partner applications—consistent colors, typography, iconography, and semantic structure. This consistency significantly reduces onboarding time, minimizes change-management effort, and reinforces Siebel’s commitment to a unified, intuitive, and modern user experience across all form factors.
Optimized for real-world tablet usage
Designed with the realities of tablet usage in mind, the Redwood UX focuses on streamlined information delivery and reduced navigation. Users can complete tasks faster while on the move—whether managers are approving requests, field users are capturing information in real time, or service agents are reviewing dashboards away from their desks.
Redwood UX for Siebel CRM is designed to maximize:
- Usability: Optimized for field sales and service users performing frequent, mission-critical tasks
- Productivity: Faster access to relevant information and quicker task completion
- Collaboration: Seamless scheduling of meetings and calls with contacts, employees, account team members, and customers—even while traveling
The new Redwood UX is built on the OpenUI framework and introduces the following key capabilities:
- Ask Oracle: A modern home and global navigation experience that enables users to search for screens and views, navigate key application areas, access tools, and receive alerts and notifications
- Redwood Styling: Updated fonts, colors, and icons aligned with Oracle’s Redwood design system, designed for clarity, accessibility, and reduced eye strain
- Restyled Homepage, Screens, and Views: Cleaner layouts with simplified headers, larger touch targets, and the ability to hide the Toolbar using menu toggles
