Oracle releases PeopleTools 8.60 on OCI

The wait is over! Oracle made PeopleTools 8.60 generally available for all PeopleSoft customers to run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Yet again, we deliver a PeopleTools release packed with features that enable you to add more value to your applications and reduce operational costs! If you joined us at the RECONNECT conference this week, you should have seen many of the new PeopleTools features in action. Check out the Quest Oracle Community for the replays if you missed it.

Some of the many features and improvements included in this release are highlighted below:

  • Improvements to user experience with the incorporation of Redwood Design that provides modern, consistent, and state-of-the-art interactions for end users.
  • Global search and quick access bar available on all PeopleSoft pages allow for efficient navigation and search.
  • Configurable Search framework to provide a consistent search experience for users in classic and fluid components. The framework also provides the ability to configure properties of component search.
  • Application Services Framework provides support for creating Consumer Application Services to invoke 3rd party provider integrations.
  • Support and improvements to extend PeopleSoft applications with Cloud applications such as Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA), Oracle Guided Learning (OGL), and Oracle Data Science.
  • Automation of PUM source management including improvements to PUM Automated Updates (PAU) and administering PUM source metadata.
