The Job Data Modernization feature released in PUM Image 36 and enhanced thereafter, modernizes the way administrators maintain Job Data in PeopleSoft HCM by delivering usability and functional enhancements. Over the past year, many customers have successfully deployed the Job Data Modernization feature and reaped the benefits of the new streamlined way of entering and maintaining employees' Job Data. McLane Company, Inc.

McLane Company, Inc. is one of the largest supply chain services leaders in the United States, providing grocery and food service solutions for convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores, and chain restaurants. McLane Company tested and deployed Fluid job data within one week. This deployment of their most important component in PeopleSoft HCM gives them a new user experience for their administrators and the ability to stay current with job data features and functionality.


J. Paul Getty Trust

J. Paul Getty Trust advances and shares the world's visual art and cultural heritage for the benefit of all. Getty is a cultural and philanthropic institution dedicated to the presentation, conservation, and interpretation of the world's artistic legacy.

The J. Paul Getty Trust implemented PeopleSoft Fluid Job Data. The new enhancements to Job Data, such as configurable search, attachments, approvals, and using Page and Field Configurator to hide or mask fields by Job Data transactions, results in a simple to use, intuitive application for HR administrators and clerks to perform various job data request transactions.



Evergy is the largest electric company in the state of Kansas in the United States, serving more than 1.6 million residential, commercial, and industrial customers. In May 2019, Forbes named Evergy as one of America's Best Top 500 Employers.

With the rollout of Fluid Job Data, Evergy was able to streamline the data entry process for managers using Page and Field Configurator (PFC) to limit the fields required for data entry. Managers liked seeing the employee's photo and the current and proposed changes side-by-side before submitting the transaction for approval.

Deploying Fluid Job Data has allowed Evergy to take advantage of the new configurable search and the ability to hide, mask, and grey out fields based on actions using Page and Field Configurator.


Harris Health System

Harris Healthcare provides award-winning healthcare software and services that improve the safety, quality, and efficiency of patient care throughout Harris County, Texas, United States, including the city of Houston.

Implementing Fluid Job Data was one of the early steps in making their PeopleSoft application accessible outside the desktop. For the business, the feature has expanded their search capability through which they can save frequently used searches as quick filters, rather than running a complete query or report to view results. The guided component helps users to review the required pages upon adding or updating a row of data. The guide also has two new pages that assist with their data entry, such as validations with the ability to review a summary of the changes before the transaction is submitted.

As a reminder, the classic version of Job Data went out of support on 31st December 2022. This means that any bug fixes and enhancements will only be considered for Job Data Modernization (Fluid Job Data) and not for Classic Job Data. If you haven’t deployed Job Data Modernization yet, it is time to start planning for it!
