PeopleSoft ELM Image 22 is now generally available and is the first ELM Image built on PeopleTools 8.59. Several great features have been delivered with this Image that will help to make life easier for your learning administrators, instructors, and learners.
Scorm content upload – We have added the ability to upload SCORM content from the course page in PeopleSoft rather than having to transfer the file outside of the system. This will allow administrators of a course to upload the SCORM files directly through the course page.
LTI 1.1 integration – LTI 1.1 integration allows for integration with LTI compliant systems. For the first release of LTI integration, we have focused on Zoom integration. This allows for learning administrators to set up web-based live classroom sessions and connect a zoom webinar room to the class. Instructors can launch the class and learners can join the class directly through the PeopleSoft ELM learning system. This allows for organizations to continue training when in-person classes are not practical or permitted.
Learners can launch the web-based session from My Learning or Find Learning. Administrators can use the LTI Setup page to associate an LTI provider with a class definition while defining the learning components of the class. Navigate to Enterprise Learning > Catalog > Maintain Classes > Learning Components > LTI Setup to set up the provider URL for launch. Here the learning administrator can also define if the course should be completed on launch, or if an instructor or administrator will need to mark the learner as complete once they have satisfied the needed requirements for the class.

The Instructor can open the required session from the Instructor fluid home page and use the Launch button in the Class Details page to launch the learning resource.By navigating to Learning Instructor fluid home page > Class Actions tile > My Classes > Class Details. This is also where the instructor can mark attendance and grades if the mark complete check box is not selected on the class setup page.
These enhancements as well as others help to enable learning at the point and time that it is needed.
