Actionable exceptions are system-flagged items that fall outside your business rules or require immediate action. The Procurement WorkCenter includes four key exceptions tailored for Buyers to proactively manage tasks and address issues:

  1. PO Sourcing Errors – Flags requisitions that failed during PO creation.
  2. POs On Hold – Highlights purchase orders currently on hold.
  3. PO Budget Check Exceptions – Identifies POs with invalid budget status.
  4. Document Tolerance Errors – Catches POs exceeding document tolerance limits.

Pending Activities: Your To-Do List

In addition to exceptions, the WorkCenter includes four Pending Activities to keep you on top of your workload. Each activity comes with a count and relevant details, so you know exactly what needs your attention:

  1. Requisitions to be Sourced – Approved requisitions ready to be turned into POs.
  2. POs not Dispatched – POs that haven’t been sent out yet.
  3. PO Acknowledgement – POs where the supplier changed delivery details, requiring your review.
  4. Reconcile PCard Statements – Procurement card charges needing attention.

Resolving issues is a breeze—just select one or more rows, choose the appropriate action, and you’re done. The WorkCenter even lets you jump directly to the transaction to fix the problem on the spot.
