“Safety First”. Employers are responsible for protecting their employees and members of the public when they are involved with their organization. It is important for an organization to have a Health and Safety policy and procedure in place to minimize risk, reduce costs and increase productivity.
Effective January 1, 2026, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) amended its occupational injury and illness record-keeping regulation to require employers meeting certain size (more than a 100 employees) and industry (agriculture, manufacturing, grocers, construction, transportation, warehousing and storage, and retail) to electronically submit their 2025 summary (300A) injury and illness information to OSHA by March 2, 2026.
