PeopleSoft Cloud Manager Image 22 is now available, bringing a more intuitive management experience and greater flexibility for deploying and operating PeopleSoft environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. This release focuses on making everyday administration clearer and more efficient.

The new Cloud Manager landing page replaces the tile-based experience with a structured dashboard that provides immediate visibility into environments, status, zones, applications, clusters, and important operational information. Navigation and environment management are also improved: administrators can quickly access key areas such as Policy Monitor and Cloud Manager Settings, filter and sort environments by tags and categories, and switch between grid and card views. New topology and repository summaries offer a concise view of usage, templates, images, and patches.

Image 22 also expands operating system image flexibility. Rather than relying on one global Linux or Windows image, administrators can maintain an OS image catalog and select Marketplace or custom images for individual nodes. Default images can be defined centrally, while node-level selections can be overridden during topology design, provisioning, and node management. This enables heterogeneous deployments and specialized images for different workload requirements. For organizations using Exadata on Dedicated Infrastructure, Cloud Manager now supports Exadata database templates. Administrators can use an existing Exadata Test Master as the source for a database template, allowing the Test Master to be cloned to a sparse clone as part of environment provisioning.

There are even more features in Cloud Manager Image 22. Check out the PeopleSoft Cloud Manager documentation to learn more.
