MySQL HeatWave: One database for OLTP, OLAP, ML & Lakehouse
MySQL HeatWave is the only fully managed database service that combines transactions, analytics, and machine learning services into one MySQL Database, without the complexity, latency, and cost of ETL duplication. MySQL HeatWave Lakehouse enables you to query half a petabyte of data in object storage—in a variety of file formats, such as CSV, Parquet, and export files from other databases. You can leverage the benefits of HeatWave even when your data is stored outside a MySQL database.

The new MySQL HeatWave Implementation exam is intended for data professionals responsible for planning, provisioning, managing, and configuring HeatWave deployments, and validates the candidates’ ability to complete the following tasks:

- Back up and restore DB systems
- Enable inbound replication and read replicas
- Perform data migrations
- Enable and disable high availability
- Add a HeatWave cluster to a DB system
- Create Lakehouse external tables
- Train a model using AutoML
- Describe how to evaluate a trained model
