Introduction

Building on the power of AI that we already have in OIC, this is still a big focus for this release. So, without further ado, let’s get going.

MCP Gateway

26.10 sees the first iteration of our MCP Gateway.

MCP Gateways can manage access to MCP servers / tools, both those from OIC or 3rd parties. It provides

• OOTB auditing and observability

• identity and access control

• ability to cherry pick which tools are exposed

• ability to apply inbound/outbound policies – security and business related

AI Features Released in 26.10

AI Assistant

With 26.10, AI Assistant now supports Plan and Act mode for integration generation. Please be aware this is only available for Enterprise edition. This mode ensures the generation of a more complete integration.

Knowledge Base

Ability to add Custom metadata to your Knowledge Base –

Without metadata, retrieval relies mainly on text/vector similarity. With metadata, a query can restrict search to the right customer, account, document type, date, region, product, or access segment before retrieving relevant chunks. Net, net – custom metadata improves answer accuracy by reducing irrelevant candidate documents.

Human in the Loop (HITL)

• Human task audit data now flows to OCI Log Analytics for long-term retention, with pre-built dashboards that give operations and business owners visibility into their approval workflows — how many tasks are open, who they’re sitting with, and which agents and workflows are driving the most demand.
• You can now assign human tasks by searching and selecting users or groups from a picker, in addition to the existing expression-based assignment.

Project Adoption

We are making it even easier to adopt projects, by honouring the global space endpoint, when moving an integration from the global space to a project.

Move to project

This 26.10 feature allows us to maintain the previous endpoint, when moving an integration to a project. This means your existing OIC clients do not have to change the endpoint URL they are currently invoking; i.e. your move to projects is transparent to them.

File Server

GCM Cipher Support: With 26.10, Oracle Integration File Server now supports AES-128-GCM and AES-256-GCM ciphers for SFTP file transfers. This enhancement provides stronger cipher options and helps customers maintain compatibility with external financial institutions and partners that are moving away from AES-CTR ciphers.

Extended File Storage: With 26.10, Oracle Integration File Server now supports extended storage capacity, allowing customers to provision additional File Server storage beyond the default allocation. Additional storage can be requested based on customer requirements, and additional charges apply. To request additional storage, customers just need to raise an SR.
