Welcome to the 23.06 release of Oracle Integration. This release brings a plethora of new features, so without further ado, let’s look at them!
Common Features
Process Automation now available in Oracle Integration

Process automation has been available since the May 2023 update, but I just want to highlight this to you all. Check out the post here on how to enable Process Automation for your Oracle Integration instance.
Integration
Oracle Integration Events
Oracle Integration 23.06 includes the general availability of OIC Events. For many of you with a SOA Suite background, think of EDN. For Oracle Integration Generation 2 users, think of the Publish/Subscribe pattern. Here we have the ability to define events in Oracle Integration. These events can be published by an integration. The 23.06 release also gives us triggers, based on event subscriptions;
For example, integration A can publish a NewOrder event, while integration B can subscribe to the NewOrder event.

OIC Support for Private Endpoints

OIC support for Private Endpoints enables secure access to your application endpoints in private networks. The 23.06 release of OIC includes the initial release of Private Endpoint support. Using this feature, OIC can securely invoke target applications deployed in the private subnets of your tenancy. To achieve this, we have added a new menu item in the Service Console for creation of a Private Endpoint, as well as a new option for connectivity in a select set of adapters.
In the first release, we are supporting the following adapters
1. REST
2. FTP
3. Oracle DBaaS
4. Oracle ATP
5. Oracle ADW
Private Endpoint support will be extended to additional adapters, in future OIC releases.
Please see this post for more details.
OIC Projects – RBAC Support
OIC Projects are a great way of organizing your integration assets. We have now augmented this with RBAC (Resource Based Access Control) functionality.

Please see the detailed post here for more details.
Ability to add a WAIT action to a Synchronous Flow

Oracle Integration Observability Improvements
B2B in Oracle Integration
Re-deliver Capability –
Redelivery is a common B2B requirement. This could be due to issues in downstream applications etc. The 23.06 release will allow one to redeliver successful B2B transactions.
B2B Standalone Mode
This was a feature available in OIC Gen 2. It is now included in OIC 23.06

Ability to assign file / directory value names dynamically
This gives you more flexibility, whatever you specifiy in the mapper overrides what has been specified in the B2B transport definition.
B2B specific artifacts can now be used and executed within the context of an OIC Project
OIC Projects are the way to go in respect of organizing your integration artifacts, now this includes use of B2B.
