Intelligent Advisor Release 23B (12.2.31) is now available for public cloud and private cloud (on-premise) customers.
Be sure to also review the features added to 23A since our last post.
Rule table authoring improvements (Monthly Update 2)
Table rule authoring in decision service and flow projects has been enhanced so that you can now:
- add a new row above or below the one in focus so that you can add new data into the most logical place in your table
- duplicate a table row so that you can quickly enter very similar data
- more easily select rows and tables for copying and pasting of data
Multiple document support for decision service projects (Monthly Update 1)
Decision service projects now support the creation of multiple rule documents. (Flow projects already supported multiple rule documents.) This improves the authoring and navigation of decision service rules in Intelligent Advisor Hub, particularly for projects with complex rules. There is a new Project tab that displays an overview of the decision service project. It shows all the rule documents that make up the project. There is a button for creating additional rule documents in the project.
Oracle Integration connection supports OAuth (Monthly Update 1)
Intelligent Advisor connections to Oracle Integration 3 support OAuth token based authentication for invoking integrations. This involves setting up a client application in the Identity Cloud Service Stripe of the Oracle Integration instance with JWT Assertion as the scheme and importing the Intelligent Advisor public key as a certificate.
Migrate Policy Modeling project rules to a flow project (Monthly Update 1)
The Intelligent Advisor flow migrator is a Node.js tool that migrates the rules contained inside an Oracle Policy Modeling project into an Intelligent Advisor Flow project. It does not currently handle interview screens or mapped data.
The tool is available in GitHub: https://github.com/oracle-samples/ia-tools-samples/tree/main/tools/flows-migrator/migrator
User set data on inferred records (Monthly Update 1)
Rules authors of decision service and flow projects can now create a primary record list with a stable identity. This provides the ability to reference a specific list record in rules.
Migrate existing Oracle Sales and Fusion Service checkpoint data from a custom object to the Interview object
A scheduled process named Migrate Intelligent Advisor Checkpoints is available to move Intelligent Advisor checkpoint data stored in a custom object to the standard Interview object that was released in 23A.
Create and update internal service requests and HR service requests
Internal service requests and HR service requests can now be created and updated via Intelligent Advisor interviews. This enhancement enables Intelligent Advisor advice experiences to be confidently applied to a wider set of Fusion Service scenarios. The data model is consistent with the documented Fusion object REST APIs.
Updated version of Intelligent Advisor Interview component in Visual Builder
There has been a minor version update (14.7.0) to the Intelligent Advisor Interview component in Visual Builder. This release of the component adds an opaInterviewFailed event which provides the ability to detect when an interview embedded using the Visual Builder JET-based component fails to load.
Native integration of Intelligent Advisor interviews using Redwood Knowledge Management
An Intelligent Advisor interview can now be easily inserted into a knowledge article in the Redwood user experience in Fusion using the add Interview option.
