This post details the November 2022 releases.

Exadata System Software 22.1.5.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Exadata 22.1.5.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of the 22.1.x release. It contains the following:

  1. Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 22.1.4.0.0 released in October 2022
  2. Latest Uptrack Kernel Update for Oracle Linux 7 with critical and security updates
  3. Updated ILOM 5.0 firmware on X8-8 & X9M servers with the latest important fixes and security updates
  4. Updated InfiniBand (IB) Switch Firmware version (2.2.16-6)

Exadata System Software 21.2.18.0.0 Update is now generally available.

Exadata 21.2.18.0.0 is a maintenance release that adds critical bug fixes and security fixes on top of 21.2.x releases. It contains the following:

  1. Exadata Software updates for important bugs discovered after 21.2.17.0.0 released in October 2022
  2. Latest Uptrack Kernel Update for Oracle Linux 7 with critical and security updates
  3. Updated ILOM 5.0 firmware on X8-8 & X9M servers with the latest important fixes and security updates
  4. Updated InfiniBand (IB) Switch Firmware version (2.2.16-6)
