To help you get up and running quickly with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we have just published a new solution playbook and three supporting OCI Marketplace stacks.
Playbook
This solution playbook is designed both to set out the conceptual framework and guide you through the process of deploying the resource stacks you can leverage when preparing your tenancy for EBS workloads.
Stacks
These three stacks, which are run in the order shown, enable your various administrators to deploy resources as per their designated responsibilities in your OCI tenancy.
Tenancy or IAM administrator — Oracle E-Business Suite: Tenancy Admin Stack for Landing Zones
The tenancy or IAM administrator runs this stack, supplying arguments to define the compartments, groups and policies that are required by the following two stacks to prepare your tenancy to deploy EBS workloads.
Network administrator — Oracle E-Business Suite: Network Admin Stack for Landing Zones
Your network administrator runs this stack, supplying arguments to create the network resources for your desired configuration.
EBS Cloud Manager administrator — Oracle E-Business Suite: Cloud Manager Deployment Stack for Landing Zones
Your EBS Cloud Manager administrator runs this stack, supplying arguments to provision the EBS Cloud Manager web application (on a Compute VM) and configuring it to work within your tenancy.
These stacks follow the conceptual framework laid down by the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Landing Zone principles. To learn more, refer to Deploy a secure landing zone that meets the CIS Foundations Benchmark for Oracle Cloud.
