This article summarizes the procedures we provide for you to upgrade an 11.2.0.4 or 12.1.0.2 Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) database to the latest (19.22) 19c Release Update (RU) level on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

What’s Been Revised?

The updated procedures apply to the following database services:

  • Oracle Base Database Service DB Systems
  • Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure
  • Exadata Database Service on Cloud@Customer

Once you have successfully run the relevant upgrade procedure, you will be on Oracle Database 19c at the 19.22 RU level.

Once you have upgraded to Oracle Database 19c, you should aim to stay up to date by applying each quarterly database RU as soon as possible.
