We are pleased to announce the availability of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2.15 Fresh Install and Demo Install images for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Both images include Oracle Database 19c, Oracle Linux 8, and the latest EBS release updates, making it easier to evaluate, test, and deploy EBS in OCI.
You can create an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute instance (VM) containing the 12.2.15 database and application tiers from your choice of the provided images:
- Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.15 Demo Install Image – Includes Vision demonstration data and is ideal for evaluating EBS features, testing functionality, and exploring Enterprise Command Center (ECC) V14 dashboards.
- Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.15 Fresh Install Image – Provides a clean EBS environment that can be configured with your own data and functional setups for testing business processes tailored to your organization’s requirements.
You can obtain these two new images from the OCI Console Marketplace.
Create Your Instance
If you already have access to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, follow Provision a New Oracle E-Business Suite Installation on a Single Node on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (MOS Article KB849587) to create your instance.
If you do not yet have an Oracle Compute subscription, you can obtain a trial subscription by visiting oracle.com/cloud/free and selecting Start for free.
Configure Enterprise Command Center Dashboards
The Oracle Enterprise Command Center (ECC) Framework V14 is included with the 12.2.15 Demo Install image. After provisioning your environment, you can configure and enable ECC dashboards by following the steps described in KB849587.
ECC provides interactive command centers that help users identify, analyze, and act on key business transactions without requiring custom operational reports. The V14 release includes 36 command centers and more than 165 role-based dashboards across Oracle E-Business Suite.
