[Note: This article was modified on October 16, 2024 to reflect the update of the EBS Demo Install Image to include ECC V13]
We are pleased to announce availability of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Release 12.2.14 Fresh Install and for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Both images include Oracle Database 19c, Oracle Linux 8, and additional release updates.
You can create an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute instance (VM) containing the 12.2.14 database and application tiers from your choice of the provided images:
- Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.14 Demo Install Image – The resulting instance contains Vision demonstration data, and is suitable for testing and exploring new features including Enterprise Command Center (ECC) V13 dashboards.
- Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.14 Fresh Install Image – The resulting instance can be configured with your own data and specific functional setups, so that you can test business processes tailored to your particular needs.
You can obtain these two new images from the OCI Console Marketplace.
Create Your Instance
If you already have a subscription to the Oracle Compute Cloud Service, you can follow Provision a New Oracle E-Business Suite Installation on a Single Node on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Doc ID 2764690.1) to create your instance.
If you do not yet have an Oracle Compute subscription, you can obtain a trial subscription by visiting oracle.com/cloud/free and selecting Start for free.
Configure Enterprise Command Center Dashboards
ECC Framework V13 is included in the 12.2.14 Demo Install image. You can configure and use the ECC dashboards with your EBS instance by following the steps as listed in Doc ID 2764690.1.
New and enhanced command centers help EBS users identify and act on key transactions without a need for custom operational reporting. The V13 release includes 36 command centers comprising 150+ role-based dashboards across EBS. For more information, refer to Oracle Enterprise Command Centers (ECC) Quick Start Guide.
