This article addresses a common challenge Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) skill developers face, which is to provide secure access to documents retrieved from backend systems. Step-by-step instructions are provided in the article for setting up and configuring ODA and other OCI resources to download and temporarily store files from a backend API or URL.
The provided sample skill and custom component API help developers quickly configure and integrate ODA and Object Storage into their environment. Some of these steps can be easily automated using OCI Resource Manager and Terraform Script, and the author plans to publish another article for that.
