We are happy to announce the January update for Oracle Developer Cloud - your team collaboration and CI/CD platform in the Oracle cloud. Here is a list of the key new features you can now leverage
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Compute based Build Servers
Customer can now leverage OCI based compute and storage instances to run their build pipelines and store their CI/CD artifacts. New wizards allow you to configure OCI based environments with ease.
Project Level Password Variable
You can now configure project level variables that will store passwords. You then refer to these password variables in your build scripts, build steps etc. When a password changes in your system, you'll only need to update it in a single place in Developer Cloud Service and the new password will be used everywhere it is referenced.
Draft Mode for Wiki Pages
We added support for draft status for wiki pages, allowing you to create and edit pages before you publish them to the public. As you edit a wiki page DevCS auto-saves the content, so even if you leave the page without publishing it, you are able to return to the draft later on to complete it and publish the content.
New Organization Page
Organization Administrators have an updated Organization Page that provides easy access to all the admin tasks making it simpler to configure the environment for your organization including managing build servers, build templates, projects stats, and more.
These are just some of the highlights in this new version. Make sure to read about the rest in our "What's New" section of the documentation. Also check out the new tutorials and doc to help you leverage the new features. If you run into any questions, you can ask them on our new public Slack channel or our Oracle Cloud Customer Connect Forum.
