- Llama 4 and IBM Granite model support: We now support the latest Llama 4 model on OCI Data Science AI Quick Actions, and IBM’s Granite models will be available soon.

- Get Oracle APEX Certified for free until May 15: The Oracle APEX team has made exciting advancements to the APEX Developer Professional learning path, making it easier than ever to validate your expertise in low-code application development. If you’re an Oracle APEX developer or looking to enhance your career with cutting-edge AI-powered low-code app development, now is the perfect time to get certified.
- Python data analysis with Oracle Database: To make interacting with Python data analysis, machine learning, and AI libraries that use data frames more efficient, python-oracledb 3.0 introduced two new methods that allow Oracle Database queries to fetch directly to a data frame format.
- Updates to Oracle Database 23ai: The April update of Oracle Database 23ai includes a number of improvements, including new functions and the removal of restrictions on JSON, BLOB, and CLOB data types.
- Oracle Database@Google Cloud: We recently announced plans for an industry-first partner program, and availability of Oracle Database Service on Oracle Database@Google Cloud. Read about it here.

Cloud Infrastructure:
- OCI File Storage with Lustre is available now in Oracle Cloud Console: OCI File Storage with Lustre is a fully managed service based on Lustre. It enables you with the performance and scale benefits of Lustre, including milliseconds of meta-data latency, capacity to petabytes, and high throughput of terabytes per second, while eliminating the complexity of management. This is especially useful for AI/ML workloads. OCI File Storage with Lustre is seamlessly integrated with OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE), and the file system can be accessed by GPUs Hosts, Bare Metal or virtualized servers.
- OCI Kubernetes Engine improved ease of use: Non-destructive node repair and cycling in OKE is coming soon. Stay tuned.
