Demo_Promo

If you’re attending Oracle CloudWorld in person, you’re not going to want to miss all the incredible experiences over in the Developer Hub. Make sure you carve out time to get over to Caesars Forum and check out JavaOne and DevNucleus. Here you will find yourself immersed in technical expertise, surrounded by games and activities, with plenty of opportunity to chill out for a bit playing retro arcade games. That said, we’re really here to talk about all of the great demos that will be available, where you can dive deep into the tech with the product experts…so let’s jump right in!
(for the full schedule, scroll to the end of the article)

NVIDIA
Daily from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

The NVIDIA team will be showcasing two demos: Brain Tumor 3D Segmentation with MONAI and Using NVIDIA NeMo Megatron, the NeMo toolkit, and NVIDIA Triton Inference Server.  Want to know more?

MONAI is the domain-specific, open-source medical AI framework that drives research breakthroughs and accelerates AI into clinical impact. It unites doctors with data scientists to unlock the power of medical data for deep learning models and deployable applications in medical AI workflows. MONAI features domain-specific tools for data labeling, model training, and application deployment that enable you to develop, reproduce, and standardize on medical AI lifecycles.

This demo will show how to construct a training workflow of multi-label segmentation tasks in datasets. These aim to provide resources not only through open-sourcing large medical imaging datasets, but by standardizing the analysis and validation process as well.

NVIDIA NeMo Megatron offers an easy, efficient, and cost-effective framework to build and deploy large language models with billions and trillions of parameters. It builds upon NVIDIA’s most advanced technologies and provides an end-to-end workflow for automated distributed data processing; training large-scale customized GPT-3, T5, and multilingual T5 (mT5) models; and deploying those models for distributed inference at scale with Triton Inference Server.

Ampere AI
10/18 – 10:00 am to 11:00 am & 10/19 – 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Ampere Altra and Ampere Altra Max, with high-performance Ampere-optimized frameworks, offers the best-in-class Artificial Intelligence inference performance for frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch and ONNX Runtime. Ampere Model Library (AML) offers pretrained models to help accelerate AI development.

MosaicML
10/19 – 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

The MosaicML Cloud makes it easy to train any size model on any number of GPUs. Achieve more accurate results faster and seamlessly scale your workloads with their distributed training methods. If you can’t make it by the demo stations at the scheduled time, you can find the MosaicML team at their booth – 507 – in the DevNucleus space.

vFunction
10/18 at 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Increase developer productivity and adopt modern cloud application development practices. Migrate a monolithic application to microservices using Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) and Oracle Functions to improve feature delivery and gain agility by using vFunction.

Rookout
10/20 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

The future of application debugging is here, and it is remote. As we adopt techniques such as microservices and serverless, the way we write code changes, and the applications are distributed. Add one line of code to your application and get ready to debug it remotely. Save time and money with Rookout, no compromise is needed.

CIQ / Rocky Linux / Apptainer
10/19 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am and 10/20 at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Stop by if you’re looking for a deep dive on Rocky Linux or AppTainer. Bring your AI/ML questions to the 10/19 session, your migration questions to the 10/20 session, or all other questions to either session.

NetFoundry
10/19 – 10:00 am to 11:00 am & 10/20 – 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm

Instantly spin up private, software-based, zero-trust networking between Oracle Cloud and anywhere. Replace point-to-point VPNs or MPLS with global, cloud-native, zero-trust networking. Spin up new connections in minutes, on demand, using the Oracle Marketplace image.

In this demo learn how to leverage Netfoundry’s zero-trust network to interconnect an on-prem Kubernetes cluster to a cloud based OKE cluster.

Pulumi
10/20

DevOps harmony doesn’t just mean the operations team gets closer to the development team; it also means the developers get closer to the operations team. Gone are the days of needing to learn a domain-specific language which you can only use for one purpose to stand up your infrastructure. Today, you can use a variety of languages you probably already know to stand up an infrastructure on Oracle Cloud!

SUSE / Rancher / NeuVector
10/18 – 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm

Learn how NeuVector automates continuous integration, continuous delivery pipeline security—and complete runtime security—including the industry’s only container firewall to block zero days and other threats. NeuVector shows how DevOps, DevSecOps, and security teams can have the tools and protection they need to secure the entire container pipeline, from build to ship to run.

OCI DevRel

And last but certainly not least, you’ll find your friendly, neighborhood DevRel folks hanging around often to answer any questions you might have about deploying and managing your code on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

We are all elated to have this opportunity to connect with you at Oracle CloudWorld and look forward to seeing you in the DevNucleus space as your schedule allows. Don’t miss out – it’s going to be a blast!
